Legal requirements
The legal requirements are based on the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), in particular § 14 in conjunction with § 3 (1) BFSG, with reference to the Ordinance on the Accessibility Strengthening Act.
Through regular reviews and updates, we ensure that our digital services comply with the legal requirements and are continuously improved to provide high levels of accessibility and security for all users.
Accessibiity audit
This accessibility statement is based on a technical audit carried out in accordance with the EN 301 549 standard (version 3.2.1), which includes the criteria of WCAG 2.1 at compliance level AA.
The audit was conducted by a third party, both manually and semi-automatically, based on representative use cases. A total of seven main processes within the application were tested, including registration, login, document transfer, and upload/download procedures.
Audit process
The most recent accessibility audit was carried out on 6 June 2025. We aim to reassess accessibility annually—unless substantial new content is added to the application in the meantime.
Known issues are being addressed incrementally as part of a dynamic improvement process.
Audit results
The application is partially compliant with EN 301 549. 92% of the tested requirements were met.
Known accessibility barriers
Not all visual elements have accompanying text alternatives.
Some colour contrast adjustments are still pending.
The Submit Ticket process requires further optimisation for screen reader compatibility.
General screen reader navigation aids such as landmarks need to be expanded in some areas.
A visual-only CAPTCHA is still in use and will be replaced shortly.
Some forms lack sufficient labelling.
