How do employees without (their own) email address receive the payroll slips?

With automated payroll accounting, we offer you a unified solution for all employees – even those who do not have their own email address (sales clerks, production workers, …). The payroll slips can then be delivered as an ePost letter, for example. Completely automatically and without additional effort. Alternatively, a “dummy” user could also be used. For this purpose, a user is created in the FTAPI system with a non-existent email address. This allows the employee to access the system and view their payroll digitally and print it if needed.

How long do payroll records remain available to employees?

That depends on the respective setting on the server – in other words, on the requirements of your company. In principle, everything is possible from 1 day to infinity.

In which security level can the payroll slips be sent?

Like classic FTAPI deliveries, payroll slips can also be sent with security levels 1,2,3 or 4. Depending on your requirements, we recommend sending with security level 2 (secure link + login) or 3 (end-to-end encrypted).

Do pay slip recipients have to have an FTAPI account?

Should those receiving the digital payslip do not yet have an FTAPI account, they are given guest access to the FTAPI system. There are no additional license costs for guest access.

Is there a right to the payslip in paper form?

No, there is no law that requires payslips to be issued on paper. Only the presentation in text form is specified. Digital payroll accounting fulfills this requirement.

Is automated payroll accounting compliant with data protection?

The entire FTAPI platform has data protection and IT security as its primary goal. We had the SecuFlow of automated payroll accounting checked by external data protection officers and introduced it as a data protection-compliant process.
